Eastbourne Mini Club – Past, Present & Future

The Eastbourne Mini Club has a proud history rooted in passion, community, and a love for the classic Mini. Founded in 2005, the very first meet took place at The British Queen in Willingdon. What started with a few flyers, conversations with local Mini owners, and plenty of enthusiasm quickly grew into a thriving club. Over the years, the Eastbourne Mini Club brought together Mini lovers across East Sussex, attending shows, winning trophies for best club stands, and even being featured on the iconic London to Brighton Mini Run t-shirt.

The club wasn’t just about cars – it was about community. In 2009, members raised over £1,000 for the Children With Cancer Fund (CWCF), helping to create special days out for families in need. Memories were made, friendships built, and the club became a much-loved part of the Mini scene.

Like many things in life, time moved on, and after several years of success, the club went quiet. But Minis have a way of bringing people together – and now, thanks to the passion and drive of Mini enthusiast Ashley Colliss and other like minded individuals who share the same passion, the Eastbourne Mini Club is being reignited. With Ashley at the wheel, the aim is to breathe new life into the club, creating a welcoming and active community once again for Mini owners and enthusiasts across East Sussex.

This revival is about celebrating the Mini’s past while building an exciting future – bringing people together for meets, shows, drives, and charity fundraising, just as the club has always done. The spirit of EDMC is alive once more, and the journey ahead promises to be just as fun and memorable as its history.

Whether you’ve been part of the club since the early days, or you’re a new Mini owner eager to get involved, now is the time to join in. Together, we’ll keep the Eastbourne Mini Club rolling strong for years to come.
